If you like to spend a grand each visit, than Deatons is your ticket. My 150hp Mariner as chocking, so I took it down the street to Deaton, they charged me a grand to fix it saying it's the stator and plugs, took them about a month to get to. Took the boat out and was doing the same thing. So I brought it back, another grand say's some kind of module is bad, took it back to the lake, same problems, So I took it back, this time they fixed it, bad fuel intake hose charged me $200. Wy couldn't they of just charged me 200 in the first place and fixed it! Needless to say the boat was not even worth $2200, I got ripped bad, hopefully you will not make the same mistake I did and go somewhere else because if you take it to Deatons, it will sit in their lot for a month, and then after they charge you a grand it probably will still have problems. These guys are suppossed to be trained pros, but you wouln't know it, espicially when you walk in and they are just sittin around doin nothin, see 4 ur

If you want your stuff stolen take to deaton

I took my boat there to get something looked at and my battery was stolen and the owner said he wasn't responsable but he would sell me one of his overpriced batteries for half price, I would sink my boat before I took it to them. I hope this helps somebody from a headache.

I have gone to Deaton's Marine approx. for the last 6 years. I think they have fair prices but are slow on getting things done.
